Depth of field

This is my example of narrow depth of field. I like it because only the little light bulb is in focus. I made the colors weaker to bring out the brightness of the light bulb. I used portrait mode for this picture.

Aperture: f/3.1

I picked this one for medium depth of field because the whole tree part is in focus ,but the background isn't. I also like the shadows in the background even though the aren't in focus they are still cool looking.

Shutter speed: 1/320
Aperture: f/3.1
Focal length: 6.5 mm
ISO: 80

Lastly, this is for wide depth of field. This whole picture is in focus: the branches, the snow, the pine needle, and the weeds. Out of all three, this isn't my favorite, I like the medium depth of field the most.

Replace the sky

This is my photo for replace the sky. The two pictures were taken on the same day but two different places and times. I choose the landscape because it was the simplest one I had, then I picked the sky because I love how the clouds looked with the sun reflecting off of them.

I was taking pictures of my deck and got this one. This is my composition picture of diagonal lines ,Because of the lines of the post are diagonal , the boards ,and the patterns on them.

Curved Lines

This is a picture of a curtain at one of my friends house. I thought it looked neat because of how the pink really stands out. This my composition picture of curved lines.

Leading Lines

This picture was taken at a bowling alley in Greenwood. the reason why I pick this picture is because of how the wood closest to the camera is so clear while the pins and the lane are all out of focus. Its a good exsample of leading lines.

Aperture: f/3.1
Focal length: 6.5 mm

Rule of Thirds

I took this picture while bowling last weekend and I thought it would be perfect for leading lines and for rule of thirds. Also I like how every thing is reflected onto the floor.

Winter Nature

This picture I took when I was in my backyard and on the trail. I saw this broken piece of wood and thought it would look like a great picture. You can see the snow still but it gives off a kinda dull mood to it I think.

Shutter speed: 1/40
Aperture: f/3.1
ISO: 80
Focal length: 6.5 mm

This is a vine grow up a fence by the side of my house and I thought it was pretty neat how this part of it was just out farther than the rest. The changes I made to it was turned it black and white, brightened the white, and changed the contrast.

Open theme

I took this picture by looking up in to this tree but not towards the sun because i didn't want the glare. I like this because of the way the branches are so clear and only the closes ones are blurry.

Shutter speed: 1/1000
Aperture: f/5.6
ISO: 80
Focal length: 19.5 mm

This picture is of a shadow of a tree in my backyard. I thought it was pretty cool because of how blurry it is the closer it gets to me. Then the more focused it is farther away.
