Portraits

The worse thing I hate to take pictures of.... Me. UGH! I just hate it, but sadly I had no choice so heres a picture of me  while I was talking to my mom. The second picture is of my mom. I personally think pictures of people either look best Black & White or if the color is boosted. For theses ones it looked best in black & white.

Patterns

These are my pictures for the theme patterns. I took theses because they have repetitive qualities in them, so the fit patterns perfectly.

Typical Day

This is more like my typical morning then after school I just repeat the process without the shower and straightening. the first thing I do is wake up to the sound of my alarm usually at 6:35.. then I get outta bed (hardest thing to do), next I take a shower, put my contacts in, brush my teeth, then comb and straighten my hair, makeup, eat breakfast (usually cereal) then i grab my phone, ipod, and backpack... while i wait to go I check my facebook. then i get in to the truck and i arrive at school ten minutes latter.

Forest!!

I called this post forest because I don't know how to spell the other word... oops. These are my top 9 favorite out of 115.. I couldn't narrow it down anymore. They were all just amazing (to me anyways).. so here they are!

Light and Shadows

Lights and Shadows!! The first picture is the shadow from my window to my carpet. I like how it looked because it seemed like water, the shadows it makes, on the ground. The second one if from the first ones position looking towards the window. I like how it looks .. I don't really know why..

Camera shy..

Every time my little sister sees me with my camera she rushes over and begs me to take pictures of her. I usually take one but this was may favorite. She wanted me to take a picture of her hands. She put them in front of her face and I thought it looked pretty neat.

SPRING!

These are my pictures that are unedited. It was very blah outside, so I stayed indoors for these ones. When I think of spring I think of bright colors, plants, and sunshine.( but frankly there was none..) These are all plants except the last one, which is a plant but fake...

Land of Giants

For this assignment I couldn't decide which one I liked better because I did the first one and I really didn't like it so I did a second. They both turned out really well I thought. The first one I'm sitting in a plant, the 2nd one I'm sitting on the top of a couch. They both have the same angle of light or close enough you can't notice it.

Details

This is a crease in the wall of my shed. I like how sharp, crisp, and in focus this is. thats why I decided to use it for detail, because you can see so much DETAIL.

Shutter speed: 1/125
Aperture: f/3.1
Focal length: 6.5 mm
ISO: 80
I picked this one because of the color, and clearness from the petals. Also I love how the background is all black, It makes the whole picture have a new feeling to it.

Shutter speed: 0.03333
Aperture: f/3.1
Focal length: 6.5 mm
ISO: 80
This one I like the color and brightness as well as the last. The shadows really add to it too.

Shutter speed: 0.03333
Aperture: f/3.1
Focal length: 6.5 mm
ISO: 80
This one is really unique. At first you can't tell what it is. This is a glass soda bottle looking through the top hole. It gives such a different perspective/ point of view.

Shutter speed: 0.016667
Aperture: f/3.1
Focal length: 6.5 mm
ISO: 80
I really like this one because of the ripples in the water. This is from our basement, it was flooding and I just thought it would make sucha neat photograph. The fan was blowing on it.

CD Cover

My type of music was acoustic. When I think of it I think of pure music, like just the natural music that comes from the instrument along with the singer.

Warmth!

This is a picture of a wind chime.I really like the sun in the background because it adds to the warmth feel of it and the colors aren't so bright that your distracted from the main point.

Shutter speed: 1/320
Aperture: f/10
Focal length: 10.1 mm
ISO: 80

This one the sun also adds to the topic "warmth". I picked this shot because of the angle adds to the interest when you first see it. The sharpness of the vines and blurriness of the trees in the back really draws your attention.

Shutter speed: 1/160
Aperture: f/3.9
Focal length: 10.1 mm
ISO: 80
I really like this one because of the shadows and the angle that its taken at. I change this one to black and white cause there wasn't much color to it and it looks better like that.

Shutter speed: 1/320
Aperture: f/3.9
Focal length: 10.1 mm
ISO:80

This one is my favorite of them all. The colors make you have the warm feeling. Also how the metal flower gives it a rustic look to it.
Shutter speed: 1/160
Aperture: f/3.1
Focal length: 6.5 mm
ISO: 80

Best of....

Animal morph... This is my best and only picture for animal morph.

CAT:
Shutter speed: 0.03333333

Focal length: 6.5 mm
ISO: 80
Flash: On

ME:
Shutter speed: 0.0333333
Aperture: f/3.1
Focal length: 6.5 mm
ISO: 80
Flash: On

Ice... This is my absolute favorite picture that I took of ice because of such the narrow depth of field. Plus it in black and white so it draws the attention to the ice more.

Shutter speed: 1/250
Aperture: 1/8.0
Focal length: 6.5 mm
ISO: 80

I really like this picture because you got the feel of speed and and the focus on the two kids that is very clear. I also like the one kid is about to take off, how one like is kinda clear and the other on looks like its moving really fast.

Shutter speed: 1/25
Aperture: f/3.9
Focal length: 10.1 mm
ISO: 640

ICE!

I choosed this picture because I love the trail of water leading to the ice cube because of hot it is out side it started melting right away.

Shutter speed:1/125
Aperture: f/8.0
Focal length: 1/6.5 mm
ISO: 80
This picture I took with an ice cube outta my frezzer. It started to melt and the way the drop is coming off in the crack is really neat. and how crisp the picture is.

Shutter speed: 1/100
Aperture: f/8.0
Focal length: 6.5 mm
ISO: 80
I decide to experiment and I poured water on a plate. The put it in the frezzer and took it out about two hours later to take pictures of. It came out with a really neat design on it.

Shutter speed: 1/1250
Aperture: f/8.0
Focal length: 6.5 mm
ISO: 80

This picture is from the ice on the plate when it came off of it. I really like the very narrow depth of field in it and the way it looks over the crack on the deck.

Shutter speed: 1/250
Aperture: 1/8.0
Focal length: 6.5 mm
ISO: 80
